Expedition Earthworm!

I recently found a centipede in our bathtub just as the kids were stepping out from a shower, which naturally freaked me out so I totally dosed it and the drain. Shortly after that I spelt the word "leech" while playing Scrabble with Israel, of course he asked "what's a leech?" and I explained it's a type of worm, so he connected it to centipedes, tape worms and earthworms. I explained the differences and reassured him that earthworms were the only safe worm from that bunch but he had his reservations about that.
Fast forward to this past Sunday, Israel found a new show he's in love with named "Franklin" so he declined to take a walk with me and the baby. Aaron and I walked around the block, took some new turns and came across this huge earthworm dug up by some guys planting palm trees. So I ran back to the house and dragged Israel to see it!
He was just as excited as I was, he and Aaron actually took turns touching it... Noticing how much we were into this earthworm one of the guys suggested we keep it and got us part of a container to carry it in.
Eventually the kids got the bright idea to pick grass for the earthworm's lunch, like Israel was talking to the worm, "Here's your lunch. *his brother grabs at it* No Aaron, it's for the earthworm, every living thing needs food to live! *carrying it back home* It's ok, it's ok, don't worry, we won't hurt you, you're ok Mr. Worm."
FYI When we got back to our garden I quickly placed the earthworm in his new home to help out one of our ailing plants.
