So Aaron (1 yr old) is really into the alphabet, he demands to play Scrabble and now he's identifying letters. Night before last we were reading "My Giant Book of Fairy Stories" and Aaron's stuck on the cover page pointing at each letter of the title trying to pronounce them. He's doing great with identifying "O" but suddenly she notices the laptop open but no show playing and gets distracted demanding I play a show. I'm telling him no and explaining it's not time for that instead it's reading time and he begins a tantrum then Israel (3 yrs old) chimes in...

Israel: No, Aaron. I really want to read and teach you the letters you need to know. It's not time for a show, it's time to read. Aaron: *stares then nods his head repeatedly* Israel: Good Aaron! You need to learn the letter so please sit. Aaron: *nods his head then plops down on the bed* Me: *staring amazed & stunned into silence*

I'm a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious mom, if I may say so myself. Of all the jobs I've had being a mother is the one I'm most proud of and I take my role very seriously, raising good human beings is a pretty big assignment.
